Lost A Sketch

 

I had another page of gestures I was going to upload, but it seems I’ve lost it.. I’ll try not to be so careless in future updates.
The above sketches were done using the pixelovely 30 min gesture drawing class.

 

I know it’s been a while, so hi internet folks!

Got some good news; I’m going to college!! I’ve already been accepted and have put in the deposit to hold my seat. Hope I can find the rest of the money to pay the tuition. Lol

I also got a job. Seasonal, but it’s more then I’ve gotten in all the months I’ve been looking.

Hello internet people! I’ve had the most awful un-creative streak since forever now... and there’s not a lot going on in my life to complain about or blame it on. So yeah... Blah

Anyhow, I’ve been following a thread on gaiaonline that is supposed to be something of an online study group for artist. I’m going to be doing the exercises suggested, but I’m probably not going to post them there. Gonna do that here!

 

Some gestures for week 1!

Long time no update... Again.

Sorry, I seem to have disappeared on everyone again. I don't mean to do that, just kind of happens sometimes. I haven't done a lot of sketching or artwork since the last update. There are a couple things I did for school, most of them are wips that are not going up yet. Unfortunately because I didn't get it done on time they won't be marked. Huge drama as to why they didn't get done, but I'd rather just forget about it then rant on!

The forest photo was taken by me on an early trip to the Wye Marsh. The unicorn was a speedpaint done in photoshop from a photo I vaguely recall on deviantart. I fucked up my light sources.. lol

A While Ago!

A while ago I said I had been working on drawings for English. Well that was a lie, I was supposed to be working on drawings for English. But of course I love to do everything but school work, including four hour walks with no destination, because I`m the biggest procrastinator I know!

Anyway, here is what I eventually crammed out:

I spend so much time.....

Not doing anything related to art ever since the bullying thing... And now they're tying to get me involved in their drama again, this time by befriending me. I don't get the female gender despite my ovaries, it's just too complicated.

It's kind of sad how much my resolution has crumbled from the beginning of the year... Oh well, just keep trying right!

Now we're back to photos, sorry guys. ^_^ and yeah, that's an Eevee!

Not a lot of new things going on. Not even a lot of sketches at the moment. I had a problem with some of the students I go to school with. One of them busted me for sketching the back of their head and started having her friends bully me around. It's been requested that I no longer carry my sketchbook to avoid problems with these girls again.

Don't blame the school though, my guidance councillor thought it was just as ridiculous as the rest of the creative world that these girls made so much drama over nothing. I also hear now that since I am no longer in their class they have taken to bullying each other!

Last day of the semester was today. Felt like a good day, it was sad however. While I was supposed to be paying atenchen to the presentations, I was sketching one of the girls that sat in the front of the class, even though I don't like them... haha

Sorry for the photograph. I just don't see the need to find a scanner for blog sketches.. maybe latter I will. Well, I see a need, just too lazy at the moment.. XD

It's been a few weeks and I haven't been keeping up with my resolution. Excusable though as I've had semester finals to tend to. I think I passed all my classes, and next week I start my new classes!

FIRST BLOG POST EVER! Are we excited now? I sure am!

I created a blogging accout in hopes that I would one day feel good enough about my artwork that I could post it in places outside of DeviantART and GaiaOnline. However, that path I was taking would have made the wait rather long, especially considering I haven't drawn anything in about half a year.

Now, my feeling regarding my work haven't changed in the slightest, but I'm putting sketches and whatnot up anyway. I've decided that I will be doing four pages of gesture a day, along with any other project I may take up. I will not post every single page of my sketchbook. I'm thinking one page from each day of the week might be nice. (I'll probably not fallow threw with the posting.)

If you do happen to stumble across this blog, feel free to give any suggestions and critiques you feel necessary. If you've just come to ridicule me, please do so in a tasteful manner.
