More work from school

Some of the work I've done in figure drawing class over this semester.

 Gestures.
Long poses of 30 min. Conte on newsprint. The first is Massing, the other two Angle studies

Features of the Face, Charcoal on Charcoal paper.

I also found some stuff I did in the latter part of my first college!

Study just meant to build a human form without any use of line.

Ink wash to show transparency of an object. I have no idea what that is though... apparently it comes from old speakers...

 Morphing the figure. Coloured Pencils

Object Depth based on rendering and size.

Finished First Semester

I have finished my first semester at Seneca College... I finished everything with a "Just" above average score... slightly bitter about that. lol
I'll do better this coming semester!

Some of the works done in the latter part of the school semester.

This pendent was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I've already given it to him so it's safe to post! ^_^

I've had a lot more going on in my new school than I first imagined. It's really fun but I am so tired all the time...
Anyway, was going to update more this month, but a lot of that we've done in class has been practice stuffs. I may upload them latter, but for now I'll pick and chose.

Here is a skull paint over and some simple drawings for icons.

A good deal of the stuff I did throughout my this past semester, and some stuff from before then that never came up.

I still have more stuff but I haven't taken pictures of them yet. Another update will come soon. I would like to have all the work form Georgian sorted out before I begin posting work from Seneca. I will update more frequently. This isn't just a promise for those of you who frequent my blog, this is a personal growth type thing!

Progress and others

I'm ready to rip my hair out over that damned mosaic... Gahh I'm so mad at it! I got a paper cut inside one of my cuts.. That's right, I cut my cut! I've discovered a whole new level of klutzy!

Anyway, this is how much farther I've gotten on the assignment. Not much has changed and I broke the punch I was using.. that sucked. My sister did the hair and pants for me!

I also managed to get some photos of some of the things I've done throughout the semester.

Well...

I'm going to say owww... This is something I'm working on for my Colour class. Due to someones ignorance and stupidity I am now losing 10% of whatever grade I get on this, but I'm still trying to get this done as soon as possible because it's worth 20% of my final mark in the class... This has taken me over 6 hours so far.

The point of the assignment is to recreate (but not copy) a master artwork. I found this image in one of my impressionist books and like it, though I've never heard of the artist before now. I believe it's called Seated Demon by Mikail Vrubel.

Update of sorts

I'm so sorry to the few of you who visit this blog regularly! I have been meaning to post some work for some time now, but just can't seem to get to it. I have no excuse as to why, I just haven't. I have so much work I want to show you though!
Here's a something for the time being! I have to scan and take photos of my other work, but I will get it up by Wednesday!

Hands.

I’m going to school, taking my local college’s Art and Design Fundamentals program. Two weeks in now and stoked for the rest of it! I know I’m always saying I’m going to update regularly on just about every art related site I have an account on, but this time I mean it. After my work has been submitted for making and I’ve received it back I’ll be posting them around. Here will have my Drawing Fundamentals stuff as it’s mostly sketchbook work. Deviant will have most of my Design Fundamentals and Colour work. I’m not sure where I’m going to put Ideas and Imagery but its likely going to end up on my not so active Tumbler blog. I’ll figure it all out as I need to!

And to start it off have some hands!
